Re congestion charging, I think it'll have to come sooner or later. But it'll have to be done properly, i.e. at least regionally. Then the people who moan about having to pay it won't have any effective alternative in all bar a few cases. But will the politicians have the guts to do what needs to be done? Don't hold your breath.....

I would use public transport if it was available in my area. It also needs to be cheap reliable and frequent.

Because of congestion in Nottingham, I already pay a congestion charge as I sit on my bus which is held up in traffic. Because the bus gets delayed it means the bus company's costs are higher and I am sure they pass it on to the likes of me.

I do not agree with congestion charging. I will not do my business/shopping in towns which charge me for going to them.
